Mr. Jamarco Q. Lang serves as the 13th National President & CEO of Men of D.I.S.T.I.N.C., Incorporated, bringing a longstanding record of service, visionary leadership, and strategic excellence to the organization. A 2012 initiate into the Mu Collegiate and Associate Chapter seated in Jackson, Tennessee, Mr. Lang has remained deeply connected to the organization’s core principles of fellowship, philanthropy, and service.
A native of Memphis, TN, Mr. Lang is an accomplished educator and organizational strategist. As a public school teacher in New Orleans, he serves as a Grade Team Lead, where his data-informed instruction and collaborative leadership have contributed to a significant increase in student test scores and academic performance. His passion for youth development and community engagement drives both his professional and fraternal endeavors.
During his tenure as Southwest Regional Director, Mr. Lang led impactful initiatives that resulted in a significant increase in regional membership, member engagement, and financial sustainability. Through planning and enhanced fiscal oversight, he strengthened regional operations and improved long-term financial management. His ability to cultivate partnerships, secure sponsorships, and execute results-driven strategies has expanded the organization’s visibility, capacity, and influence.
Mr. Lang holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and a Master’s degree in Management and Leadership. He brings a proven record of project management, brand development, and strategic planning, anchored in intentional leadership and sustainable growth.
As National President, Mr. Lang’s vision is to create a sustainable, community-conscious organization that honors our history and legacy while enhancing the M.O.D. experience, protecting our legacy, and developing our members. His administration is focused on innovation, transparency, and purposeful engagement, ensuring that Men of D.I.S.T.I.N.C., Incorporated, remains impactful for generations to come.
